Major League Soccer Announces 2023 Season Schedule

The 2023 Major League Soccer season will kick off on Feb. 25, with 28 teams competing in two conferences for the MLS Cup.

The full schedule was released on Thursday, and it features a number of intriguing matchups, including a rematch of the 2022 MLS Cup between FC Cincinnati and the Philadelphia Union on May 13.

The season will also feature a number of new teams, including the St. Louis City SC and the Las Vegas Lights FC. These two teams will join the league as expansion teams, bringing the total number of teams in MLS to 28.

The regular season will conclude on Oct. 21, with the playoffs beginning on Oct. 25. The MLS Cup will be held on Nov. 11 at a site to be determined.
