Transition to the Majors

After a successful college career at UCLA, Roberts was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1994. He made his Major League debut in 1999 and quickly established himself as a versatile outfielder known for his speed and baserunning ability.

Roberts played for several teams throughout his career, including the Dodgers, Red Sox, and Padres. During his time with the Dodgers, he played a pivotal role in the team's run to the World Series in 2017 and 2018. As a manager, Roberts has guided the Dodgers to two more World Series appearances in 2020 and 2021.
